FACULTY OF ARTS

The faculty is headed by Dr. Alhaji Iddrisu Hussein Ibrahim. It is the first faculty established by the IUCG in year 2000 and was accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) to run bachelor degree in Religious Studies under an affiliation agreement with University of Ghana, Legon, for the award of bachelor degree.

 In 2010, the faculty commenced an MPhil programme under an affiliation agreement with Al-Mustafa International University, Qom, Iran which is the sole sponsor of IUCG now.  The staff strength currently is 8, of whom 4 are the faculty’s graduates who have returned to teach in the faculty after completing MPhil and PhD programmes.

FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Faculty of Business Administration which was established in 2002 is accredited by National Accreditation Board and affiliated to University of Ghana Business School is headed by Mr. Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Hamdan.  The faculty is currently running 5 business administration options at the bachelor level. Graduates of the faculty are awarded the degrees and certificates of the University of Ghana, Legon.

 

FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION

The Department of Communication Studies was established in year 2011 and it is headed by Mr. Ato Amoaning Annan.  The faculty was granted accreditation from January 2011 by National Accreditation Board to run Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) programme.

 

 

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION

The aim of the programme is to expose students to the spectrum of ECE in order to prepare them for career in schools, childcare centres, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). This will enable the teacher trainee to be able to understand the concept of early childhood education which has positive effects on the ability of a developing child in all aspects of life
